Just lovely – your hellebore flowers are unbelievably flawless. I love the blackbird video – we are a long way off hearing them in our little corner …
Nice to hear from you Cathy. I don’t recall such a large gathering of blackbirds in the neighborhood before and the sweet robins, a dozen or more moved around back to the garden yesterday, brought such excitement. The hellebores seemed a bit late this year but are beginning to shine.
So looking forward to these signs of spring
Once things get started they tumble forth. I was surprised by the Hyacinth.
Beautiful hellebores. I would love some, but they sure are expensive. I need to find a sale. 🙂
I’ve lost a lot of plants and trees so have been scouting for replacements and am stunned from sticker shock. I can appreciate the time and investment of the growers though.
I am really enjoying your spring bulbs, as we can grow them here. I have had a couple of Robins over the winter, but it has been a long since Red-wing Blackbirds stopped by.
The spring flowers are surprising me each day–nice time of year. I counted one or two Red-wing Blackbirds a few years back during a Bird Count this time of year, but to see so many is unusual.
I have more butterflies and less birds. I think it depends on where the wind blows.
Yay! Exciting to see spring is on its way!
Yes, it really is.
Lovely, one and all, Susie. I adore that Hyacinth. I’ve seen large flocks of birds here the past 2 days as well but I’ve no clue what they are. I need to refill my feeders and maybe collect more clues!
Hope you can ID the birds Kris! The hyacinths are a bit of surprise–seems early.
Oh, now that’s exciting! Thanks for sharing. ‘Harmony’ is beautiful!
Thanks Beth, I’m thrilled that ‘Harmony’ came back for a second year.
Spring! Lovely photos and so uplifting! 😃
Gorgeous photos, the Hellebores especially. They look like they are posing for you. Mine seem to tell me to get lost!
