Nice to hear from you Cathy. I don’t recall such a large gathering of blackbirds in the neighborhood before and the sweet robins, a dozen or more moved around back to the garden yesterday, brought such excitement. The hellebores seemed a bit late this year but are beginning to shine.

I’ve lost a lot of plants and trees so have been scouting for replacements and am stunned from sticker shock. I can appreciate the time and investment of the growers though.

The spring flowers are surprising me each day–nice time of year. I counted one or two Red-wing Blackbirds a few years back during a Bird Count this time of year, but to see so many is unusual.

Lovely, one and all, Susie. I adore that Hyacinth. I’ve seen large flocks of birds here the past 2 days as well but I’ve no clue what they are. I need to refill my feeders and maybe collect more clues!
