What beautiful blossoms! Spring!
Thanks Judy!
Lovely flowers… I love the species tulip… I have T. c. ‘Lady Jane’ and it is a reliable re-bloomer for me, unlike the bigger hybrids.
Thanks Eliza. ‘Cynthia’ has been reliable the past two years and gives me hope for tulips. I’ll check into ‘Lady Jane’.
I love ‘Cynthia’, which is just finishing up in my own garden – she seems tougher than her sister ‘Lady Jane’. It’s nice to see that the butterflies have arrived too.
Thanks Kris. Only a few butterflies seen in the garden, but others are reporting long lists of sightings.
Ooooo, ‘Cynthia’ is incredibly beautiful, and I’ll have to make a note of it! Everything else is impressive and lovely, too.
Thanks Beth. Yes, ‘Cynthia’ is worth a spot in the garden. Mine’s been in a clay pot for a couple years.
So many beautiful spring blooms.
Thanks! Much to enjoy this week.
You have so many pretties in your garden! I used to grow that tulip, but the spot became too shady. I should try them again, they’re so charming. Nice post.
Thanks Tina. The tulip seems to thrive on neglect. I do recommend it. Several readers have sung its praisers.
Stunning spring flowers, and you even have garden visitors. Impressive. 🙂
Thanks Judy. Trying to enjoy the early spring gifts as much as possible. Only a few butterflies seen here but others are reporting good lists, so hope it will be a good butterfly year.
Love the tulip and that last iris especially. The little videos are lovely. 😃 I had no idea there is a butterfly called Question Mark.
The little Question Mark is exciting. I saw one for the first time last year, but was able to get much closer to this one.
