Thanks Judy. There are many buds on the camellia but only one in flower. It took me by surprise the other day when I was checking on the hellebores along the side of the house.
I remain completely envious of that coral Cameliia, Susie. Unfortunately, my climate is becoming increasingly inhospitable to Camellias – my ‘Taylor’s Perfection’ has responded to our winter heatwaves by dropping buds en masse – so I can’t envision planting another one here.
Gorgeous blooms.

Looking at beautiful flower photos is always a great way to start the day.
Goes well with a cup of coffee in the morning!
Pretty Camellia
Thanks Amy.
Susie..I ordered Dahlias 😀
Now you’ve done it! You realize they’re addictive?
Well..yes. They have shipped..and I will be interested to see how they work. Addiction prediction..highly likely if I get flowers 🌺
Good luck. I look forward to seeing them!
Need luck.. think they are the cheap version of Cafe au Lait
. experiment as usual.

Aw, that’s sad about your camellia, Kris. This one has bad years (from cold), but looks promising this time around.
Lenten roses for Lent… beautiful!
Right on schedule. Enjoy the season Eliza.
Such lovely flowers for late winter. 😃
These early ones get the most admiration. There’s time to appreciate each one.
