You have some really nice blooms for Fall.
Thanks Judy! Hope you made it okay through the tropical storm.
Wow! Does the Iris usually bloom this late? Based on its name, I’m guessing it may be a reblooming variety.
Kris, it is reblooming! This was a passalong from a plant exchange and another blogger helped ID it for me. Some years it is damged by cold it blooms so late. This year there are 3-4 blooming around the garden. It’s so hot and dry the blooms don’t last long.
Lovely selection of plants. I especially like the iris with its hint of yellow towards the centre – beautiful!
Thank you Malc! That iris takes me by surprise every year. Can’t get used to irises this time of year.
Love it, forgot about Fall Iris. Please post L.radiata flowers!
Thanks Amy. The first L. radiata opened today–will post!
Mid-September is beautiful in your garden. 🙂 All the blooms are lovely.
Amazing anything is blooming when it’s been so dry here, Beth. Thanks very much.
You have a whole lot of beauty in your gardens right now.
Thanks Judy, trying to savor the last days of flowers in the garden for this season.
Beautiful! Your flowers always look absolutely pristine… no rain damage, burnt petals or insect nibbles in sight! 😉
Thanks!
The damaged ones would be “most” of them Cathy! I hate to share those sad ones. This year the ants have been all over my dahlias, making it hard to get a clear picture without them.
Late summer loveliness! ❤
Gloriously bright, Susie!
