Aren’t the late bloomers endearing, Judy? If this hadn’t been a wordless post I would have explained these have taken all summer to finally open. They are all foliage, perhaps the soil is too rich. I’m happy to see them.

Fun! I’m glad you finally got some blooms. I always like to have some Marigolds in my garden–for the pollinators and to repel garden pests. They are so cheerful!
Beth, you and I share the rabbit problem. This was a last-ditch effort to get something planted the rabbits wouldn’t eat. The seeds were some I found from a few years ago, so was happy they made it.
Some of mine are still blooming, and their beautiful little faces do make you smile.
