Thanks Jane! A creative outlet for me. So glad you enjoy them!
Dahlia ‘Art Deco’ is gorgeous and looks very happy in your garden. And it appears that lovely buckeye butterfly is as well! We’re facing down a heatwave here. Today we’re expecting temperatures in the low 90s but over the next 2 days we may go much higher. I’m hoping temperatures don’t climb to 110F as they did one year but I’m preparing as if that could happen just in case…
Oh, I do hope your temps settle down! That sound horrible. We’ve been in the 90s all week. I was disappointed in Dahlia ‘Art Deco’ earlier but it’s taking off now. I ordered some extra plants the didn’t live so these are from last year.
I do enjoy your dahlias. We are lucky enough to be getting a Canadian cold front, which means temps are down to the mid to high 80″s.
Must be a relief! My daughter in LA grew up in NC so she’s familiar with hot summers but she said the other day it was really too hot. About 80!
Thanks for the beautiful dahlias. It gives me hope for next year. 🙂
“Next year” keeps gardening alive.
Such a beautiful stroll through your garden! Thank you.
Thank you. 🙏
Such beautiful dahlias! Cactus-flowering are my favorites.
The cactus form appeals to me also.
Your dahlias have been fantastic this year Susie!
