Your garden must be looking splendid, Susie. I’ll definitely search for ‘Art Deco’ when I shop for dahlia tubers next year. ‘Immortality’ produced a perfect bloom – mine, planted years ago, didn’t live up to its name.
I use very selective camera angles Kris! Too bad about your iris. This one has multiplied quickly but most of the plants are entangled in weeds. BTW, the dahlia vendor thinks my cafe au Lait is probably Labyrinth! Do you think it looks like yours?
I was smiling at the gorgeous Dahlias and Zinnias, but you pushed me over the edge with the Iris. An Iris in September is truly a gift from Mother Nature. 🙂

Beautiful plants! I’m imagining a bouquet with all these beauties. 🙂
Yes! I hope to get some ready for Monday ahead of the hurricane.
Glorious! Dahlia ‘Gallery Art Deco’ looks beautiful and very healthy.
Thanks. It’s a lovely color and prolific bloomer.
Love your Dahlias and Zinnias. And that’s a luscious Iris – I didn’t know they could bloom in autumn.
I’m not completely on board with azaleas and irises blooming in autumn, but did appreciate this flower. Many hybrid irises now rebloom.

…with help from the hybridizers. It’s a shock to see irises bloom in autumn. I seem to have lost most of the rebloomers (they were pass-alongs).
