That’s a beautiful Clematis! The only clematis I’ve been able to grow (semi-successfully) is a small flowered variety but I covet the flashier, larger-flowered varieties.
I long for a clematis that blooms through the summer, which many of them claim but don’t. This one must be beginner’s luck. First one I ever planted and only one that has been reliable.
Love the blues!
Always my favorite.
Aren’t blue flowers just so beautiful?
Don’t know what it is about blues but they seem so perfect.

I definitely have the autumn blues this year–but the other kind. So your pretty photos are helping to cheer me up. Thanks!
Beth I hope you’re feeling better each and every day and finding plenty of cheer.
Such a beautiful blue ‘Jackmanil’
Hi P. It’s a satisfying clematis.
Jackmanii is a real vivid blue.
Recently found one bloom that was part green and part blue. Rather unexpected.
Such rich color on that Clematis! Mine does not rebloom hardly at all.
Very few blooms second time around here.
Oh wow, such an intense color. Perfect for this time of year with all the golds and oranges.
These sparse autumn surprise blooms seem especially welcome.
