Yes it was delicious. Crabcake served with artichoke, spinach, tomatoes in lovely sauce. Was visiting my sister in Myrtle Beach before meeting friends for a yoga retreat. Glad you got to see Spanish moss. Used to love seeing it at White Lake in NC when I was a child.
I always think of Spanish moss as a decorative element you buy in bags – you’d never find it actually growing on trees here! I hope you enjoyed your trip.
I love a good crabcake, that lunch sounds delicious!
Spanish moss is such an unusual plant, it always adds such a distinctly southern look to the scene. I was surprised to find out it doesn’t like growing in just any old tree. Seems it really prefers the oaks.
Hope you had a good lunch! I loved seeing the Spanish moss when we were in the States.

I think this is what I have seen growing with orchids in orchid houses.
Perhaps so Brian. It is a a bromeliad, not really a moss.

I love Spanish Moss. It will grow on the other side of the street, but not on my side.
Love it! Whenever I travel to a place that has Spanish Moss, I swoon!
Lovely to see it growing wild.

Live oaks, but also water oaks. I couldn’t be sure which this one is.
We visited Conway last winter. The moss is truly lovely. 🙂
