Each Monday Cathy at Rambling In The Garden invites us to share an arrangement using materials collected from our gardens.
Although Monday is long past, I finally have a minute to share a mini-container of zinnias for this week.
Materials
Flowers
Zinnia ‘Cut and Come Again Mix’
Zinnia elegans ’Cactus Flower Blend’
Vase
Black matte container, integrated pin holder (approx. 2-in diameter)
And what excuse for being so tardy? My sisters invited me to spend a few days with them at the beach. As you can see from the video, it was magical. Thanks sisters!
Thanks to Cathy at Rambling In The Garden for hosting and giving us a chance to express our flower arranging passion. Visit her to discover what she and others found this week in their gardens to place In A Vase On Monday.
Ooh, I would love to go for a swim there right now! How lovely you could go there with your sisters. Love the little vase of zinnias – I have really grown to like these flowers.
I’d love to be back there too Cathy. It was beautiful.
I’ve been very late reading the Vase posts this week, so I read yours at the same time as the others. I love Zinnias!
I’m way behind on reading blogs but hope to catch up this weekend. Finished up a big project for the garden club today so can check off one thing! Have a great weekend.
Beautiful seaside scenery, Susie! (I don’t think I could say that 10x fast.) Your Zinnias are doing you proud this summer.
Can never get enough of watching the ocean. Calms me like no other place (well possibly a garden). Will catch up soon and see what you have been up to.
Escaping to the beach is the perfect summer escapade, made even better by sharing with sisters. You came back with a vengeance with your crisp, pristine trio of Zinnias.
Ricki, the beach is the happiest place.
I need a trip to the beach. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you make it to the beach Brian. So rejuvenating.
Lovely zinnias, Susie; glad you had a break at the beach too 🙂
Thanks Cathy, the beach is a great place to recharge.
