The Tuesday View: 28th June 2016

Today I am joining Cathy at Words and Herbs for the Tuesday View, sharing a weekly peek of the same view of the garden. Again I am showing the meditation circle at early morning, around 8:40 a.m.

When I arose the light was rosy and a bit strange. My mind immediately went to taking pictures while the coffee was brewing but the camera was upstairs and my first goal was to pour coffee. My husband for most of our 39 years of marriage brought me coffee in bed but for the past year I have begun doing that for him. Life is a balance you know.

Meanwhile a gentle rain started falling and soon a heavier one.

The rain gives a freshness to the Meditation circle Susie. 8.45 sound like mid morning rather than early, I’ve been getting up at 6 to avoid being outside when it’s too hot.

Hi Christina! That’s a great time to venture into the garden. Was up at 6:00 also, but making the coffee then lingering over the coffee then having a second cup! The rain started up almost right away.

I have often missed an interesting shot in the time it takes to fetch the camera. Funny, those are the visions that tend to linger in my mind.

I can almost feel that rain Susie. It really comes through in your photo – such a refreshing and peaceful scene. 🙂 Glad you could join in again!

Thank you Cathy. The light was rather weak so glad the feeling of rain came through. As the rain picked up I thought the circle might turn into a meditation pool, but it has calmed down again.

Thanks Anca, I think I understand what you mean about early morning being magical in the garden. It’s a respite before the hubbub of the day begins.

Thanks Kris, I enjoy the meditation circle. Even when not walking it regularly, which I haven’t been doing, it adds a focal point to the garden.

Nothing like a short, cooling rain. Very relaxing. Unfortunately here in Florida after the rain it just gets HOT again. Oh well. Next year I’ll take vacation in the summer and go to Maine.
